Custom Build Agreement & Checkout Terms
Custom build. Provider: Def Launch, LLC ("we" / "Ahad"). Client: the business engaging us ("you").
What you're buying
One piece of custom software, built to a written scope agreed before any code is written: a fixed price, dated milestones, a design approval gate and a launch approval gate. At handoff you receive the source files, the accounts in your name, and a one-page runbook.
The fee
The fee is stated in your written proposal before any work begins. Two ways to pay it: up front, or in two payments, one at the start and one at handoff, which costs 10% more in total than paying up front.
Scope and changes
The written scope is the contract for what gets built. Anything not on it is quoted separately, in writing, before it is built. No change gets made and invoiced after the fact.
Pausing or stopping
This is your project. If your priorities change, we pause or close it out. You pay for the milestones completed and approved, at the values set out in your proposal, and you keep everything you have paid for.
The fix window
For thirty days after handoff, anything inside the agreed scope that breaks, we fix at no charge. New features and new requests are quoted separately.
What we don't guarantee
We will not promise downloads, search rankings, revenue, or an approval date from Apple or Google. We guarantee that the software we agreed on does what we agreed it would.
Your responsibilities
- Provide the materials, access and decisions the scope depends on, or tell us early when you can't.
- Respond at each approval gate. The schedule assumes your approvals arrive within the window set in your proposal.
- Complete any platform paperwork that must be in your business's name, such as app store registration, which we will help you through.
Ownership and confidentiality
- At handoff, the custom work, the accounts and the operating instructions are yours, once the work is paid for.
- Templates, prompts and frameworks we bring are licensed to you for your own use, not for resale or redistribution. Existing tools or outside licenses are named on the scope.
- We keep what you share confidential and ask the same of you regarding our materials.
Payment, disputes, and acceptance
- By countersigning your proposal or completing checkout you agree to these terms.
- If something's wrong, contact us first at support@g8n.ai. The terms above are the agreed remedy. Initiating a card chargeback in place of that process is a breach of these terms.
- This agreement is between you and Def Launch, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, governed by the laws of the State of Texas (our principal place of business).
